Bonus Side Quest 2 - The Murder at Bent Hook - Live From Wolf Crest Game Con 2026!

This episode takes the Rollin’ on D20s crew out of their usual campaign chaos and into another live adventure, this time beginning with what should have been a relatively ordinary gathering. Naturally, ordinary is apparently forbidden at the table. When a shocking crime interrupts the festivities, the party finds themselves trapped in the middle of a mystery with a room full of suspects, conflicting stories, and far too many opportunities for everyone to become immediately suspicious of one another.

As the investigation unfolds, the group begins piecing together a strange trail of clues involving missing people, suspicious behavior, questionable motives, and a discovery that may be far more significant than anyone initially realized. With the suspects under pressure and the party attempting to keep the investigation from descending completely into chaos, every conversation seems to raise just as many questions as it answers.

Of course, this being a live Rollin’ on D20s adventure, the mystery is only part of the story. Between questionable interrogation techniques, increasingly ridiculous assumptions, magical oddities, and the cast doing everything in their power to derail even the most carefully constructed investigation, the adventure delivers plenty of laughs alongside the danger. The party's newest companion, Thistle, also joins the chaos, ensuring that whatever happens next, subtlety has already packed its bags and left the building.

As the pieces finally begin to come together, the heroes are forced to look beyond the obvious answers and confront the possibility that something much stranger is happening beneath the surface. What begins as a murder mystery slowly opens the door to secrets, danger, and discoveries that could have consequences far beyond one unfortunate victim. It is a night of mystery, mayhem, terrible decisions, and just enough chaos to remind everyone why leaving the party unsupervised is always a mistake.
